One of my most favourite pieces of Scripture is found in Jeremiah 29:11 where it says ''For I know the plans I have for you'', declares the Lord Almighty. ''Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future''
Sometimes it's hard for us to grasp the enormity of God. To think that the Creator of all things not only loves us, But He also knows the plans He has for us - It's pretty amazing! What an awesome God we serve. He knows it all, the good and the not so good. The easy stuff and the hard stuff. Sometimes it's difficult, but there is that incredible promise and realisation that God actually really does know what He's doing, even if we can't really make sense of it. God's perspective is eternity and well ours... lets just say it's limited.
God knows where we are now, and for some, its not very close to Him at all. He knows where we've been - He knows our past struggles and pains. He knows where we're going. He knows it all!
Father may I be an instrument that you would find joy and blessing in playing. For I have chosen to follow you wherever you lead. Make me, challenge me, change me and empower me for the Glory and Honor of Your wonderful name AMEN!!

that is a pretty big call. How can you have so much faith.?
Dont get me wrong, i have faith, yet my faith is placed in the immediate- something i can see and believe, in humanity.
I honestly, cant see how you can be ready to devote your whole life to god. Its easy when god doesnt suffer, or feel like we do. God cant lose anything, or hurt. I guess i just dont understand, how can you feel him like you say you do, why do you want to ?
i guess if you cant tell.. i find it very hard to believe in god. and i dont think that makes me any less of a person.
AND...I hope i dont offend you with my...cynicism..and im sorry if i do. but i would like to understand.

Chasing Liberty! We have faith in God, just like the wind cant see but can see its affects.One example is the good in humanity!God made us good!
But we ALL do things that we know we shouldnt.Humanity stuffs up, we just have to watch the news or chat to a friend to know that.
God loves us and hated it how we drift from Him.How we couldnt feel Him and know Him etc So he showed His love for us by dieing on a cross, taking our punishment for our wrongdoings. God suffered for you and for me...
If you honestly want to know God, ask Jesus to forgive you for your wrongdoings, and make Himself known to you.Have faith and God will reveal Himself to you...
We dont think your any less of a person if you dont believe.But Jesus said He has come to give us life in its fullness. Judging from your cynicism you need life in its full and thats found in Jesus Christ...
